Process design

Is something in your Human Resources domain just not working and you don't know why?

Perhaps your team are complaining that the current way of working is taking too long or is too complicated. Do you find yourself duplicating efforts to update different systems with the same piece of information? Has your headcount increased and your processes need to evolve to keep up? Or are you looking to make your processes more efficient and save cost and time?


We are experienced in process design and the Shared Services operating model where the focus is always on efficiencies and improving processes and systems. 

What can be included?

You can be as specific or broad as you need. For example you could ask us to:

  • Improve the recruitment process for the candidate
  • Evaluate the role of the Office Assistant
  • Review everything this team does
  • Investigate why overtime does not get paid correctly

How does the process review work?

Once the brief is confirmed we will complete a full and thorough investigation of what you currently do, how you do it and why you do it in that way. We will ask a lot of questions to you or your team and leave no stone un-turned to uncover the root cause of the issue or inefficiency.

What is the output?

The end result of the process review will be a report which we will discuss with you. The report will document:

  • The issue
  • Recommendations to improve using current tools / systems which highlight the 'quick wins'
  • Ideas for further enhancements which require greater investment e.g. systems development or changes.


You and your team will then be able to focus on implementing these changes to make the improvements needed.

Implementation

We can lead the implementation of these recommendations for you as a project with a fee to be agreed.

For example:

  • Reorganisation of your current team: writing of new job specifications, resource planning, consultation planning and supporting of line managers
  • Introduction of new documents: creation of forms, user guides, training as required
  • Rewriting processes: creating process maps to document the new way of working and briefing the affected employees
