No Hidden Fees I No Lengthy Contracts I No mis-selling I Truly Flexible HR Support
Bitesize HR make HR Director‑level HR expertise accessible to every organisation, not just large corporates. When businesses have the right HR support, they reduce risk, improve productivity, and create workplaces where people can genuinely thrive.
We offer flexible HR support designed to fit the needs of organisations at every stage — from early growth to established teams.
What you can expect from us:
Here's something the big agencies don't want you to know - the Tribunal insurance they sell you is a false economy, and if you have Employers Liability Insurance (which you should!) then you're most likely already insured for legal support! Agencies offering legal support will be exceptionally risk averse. That means longer processes, additional steps, and a tendency to delay decisions — not because it’s best for your business, but because it reduces their risk exposure. In many cases, you end up following a more complicated route than necessary, paying in your time and getting frustrated.
Work with us and you’ll have access to senior HR expertise — the kind usually found in corporate HR Director roles — at a fraction of the cost of hiring in‑house. We'll advise you on risk throughout and if we think you need legal support, we'll let you know.

Here's a little about Lucy's HR career
Lucy spent over 15 years working within HR in large, corporate organisations including New Look Retailers, Peugeot Citroën, Balfour Beatty, Interserve and Mitie. Her experience spans a wide range of industries—Warehousing, Retail, Engineering, Construction and the NHS—giving her a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of HR.
She is particularly at home in manual environments, often with male-dominated workforces, where health & safety breaches, travel time and work locations are often key factors in HR issues.
Throughout her HR career, she has specialised in decoding all things Human Resources for both Line Managers and junior HR colleagues. She has held a variety of Generalist HR roles, supporting large employee populations at single sites, working as a Regional HR lead across the South of the UK, and operating within Shared Services to provide remote HR advice and support nationwide.
This breadth of experience gives her valuable insight into understanding businesses, the people challenges they face, and how Bitesize HR can provide the most effective support.

Prior to joining Bitesize HR Amanda worked in Logistics and Distribution as an HR Manager for AMCO. Working within a fast-paced logistics environment, Amanda has developed a strong understanding of operational HR in businesses where performance, accuracy and consistency really matter. Her experience supports workforces facing the kind of day-to-day people challenges common in hands-on, process-driven environments, from managing performance and attendance to handling employee relations issues effectively and pragmatically.
Prior to this, Amanda spent nearly 13 years at Tesco, progressing through a variety of operational roles up to Customer Service Manager. In this position, she was responsible for managing teams, handling employee matters and resolving customer queries, giving her a solid foundation in people management within a busy retail setting.
Amanda is an Associate member of the CIPD, bringing both practical, hands-on experience and professional HR knowledge. Her combined background across logistics and retail gives her a well-rounded perspective on employee relations, team management and delivering HR support that aligns with business needs.

Mel works behind the scenes to keep everything organised and running smoothly. She is often the first point of contact for new clients, helping to create a welcoming and professional first impression.
From onboarding new clients to ensuring all essential documents are in place, Mel plays a key role in keeping processes efficient and on track. Her proactive approach and attention to detail help the team stay organised, allowing everything to run seamlessly from the very start of the client journey.
As HR & Communications Advisor, Stacey is responsible for bringing Bitesize HR’s voice to life through engaging blogs and newsletters. She plays a key role in translating complex HR topics into clear, practical and easy-to-digest content for clients.
